Suffice to say that the service was painfully slow, the food was sub-par, at best, and the management was either unavailable to answer customer complaints or just plain disinterested. I agree the food is no good but I don't think the view makes up for the disappointing food and service. Â Havne't tried any food there yet. You get a lot of bang for your buck. I started to enumerate the many reasons this restaurant is a waste of time and money and mid-way, realized I was giving this lackluster place even more of my time and attention than it deserves. I highly recommend Wolfy's and I will defiantly return.
Investigators believe one of the men was an ex-employee of Picardat. Don't let the beautiful water view fool you. Â The setup is kind of odd though. Â They had changed the menu from the last time we were there, and what I got was no longer on the menu. We were seated on the other side of the restaurant and could hear them arguing loud and clear. People are real nice and it's a friendly atmosphere to go to maybe for watching football games and getting drinks, but although the food doesn't taste bad, it was bad. I ate a Wolfys about a month ago and ordered the fish sandwich.
Got food poisoning from salmonella. The only thing Wolfy's has going for it is the view of Lake Monroe but you can see that without having to walk into Wolfy's and save yourself money and aggravation. The atmosphere is very casual so you will certainly feel comfortable. Â I think we got great service because the place was having karaoke and the noise level inside was deafening. Â It was around 1:30 pm on Wednesday, October 8, 2013.
The waitress always seemed relieved to come outside to escape it. Friends had talked about Wolfy's in Sanford several times, especially as we had visited the nearby restaurants that come and go several times a year, but Wolfy's seems to stand on its own. It consisted of two crab cakes, fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw.  The second time, karaoke again. She was outgoing, helpful, and all around a great server. My husband orders his medium, and both of ours arrived in that condition.
The fish sandwiches were apparently pretty dry, although the fish inside was decent. Observed raw animal food stored over ready-to-eat food. There are plenty of activities most evenings, including karaoke, ladies' night, trivia, all of which is available in the Events Calendar on the Web site. I am originally from Germany, moved here in 2004. Rivas and Hughes were booked into the John E. Â The place was packed with regulars, and while I won't rule out coming back I won't be a regular.
Observed soil buildup inside ice bin. Daws says she hopes to have the venue open by Sept. Picardat called 911 for help after he was stabbed. Our waitress was nice, but slow. Â My husband and I had to scream to talk and finally, we gave up.
We have two sons, Nicolas 2011 and Lukas 2013. Â At Wolfy's we were greeted by the bartender who, as it appeared, was also waitress for the whole place. Â Got the manager, he argued with us saying he will not comp the bill. After walking in, I was pretty jazzed up about the atmosphere. For both visits, our wait staff were incredibly attentive, kind, and accurate. It had been a while since I'd visited Wolfy's mostly because I remembered mediocre food and horrible service on all of my previous visits. So come on down and enjoy a cocktail and snack as the sun goes down on the lake.
I ended up getting sick the next day, in which ruined my entire weekend. My Sister ordered a wrap but couldn't finish it because it was too spicy. Wolfy's has been a local gathering spot for over thirty years. Daws realizes the community interest. It was a first time for my wife and I also and will be our last.
Both are being held without bail. Â Even though I love the band we saw and eventually was able to move closer, it just seems like too small a place for a live band, way too loud inside. Owners say they will share the coveted view with the public during several public events. Plenty of parking, both in the lot and via docks along the lake for your boat, really does help to provide the Key West Style Bar 'N Grill the restaurant's Web site claims. Nobody else at the table really cared for their food either.
Our food had arrived before we heard the bird stories, so we ate part of our meal. She says 520 On The Water will also host public gatherings several times during the year. The food was good, but remember most of it is fried, so don't plan on counting calories here. To top it all off, I am also totally in love with Sanford! Â Fine if you are sitting in the left hand side or around the bar, but if you are sitting on the right side, you can't see the band at all, due to the bar towering in front of you. Â Didn't order food since service was horrible.
